Thank you.No. You can't. You have to reside in India before you can apply under SDS.
so, did they apply through SDS and was the visa approved?I’m not sure with SDS India but I know a lot of my fellow Filipinos who applied and used their Philippine address in the application but they were actually working / temporarily residing in the UAE. I think they just put their Philippine address while the rest of the documents / requirements like bank statements, payslips and medical are all from the UAE.
or was it done through general process? that is at the UAEso, did they apply through SDS and was the visa approved?
I dont think it's usefull to apply through SDS since Covid has delayed all appclations so far. Sure it might help you to get your AIP a bit quicker other then that i dont see the point as if now. I applied through non SDS, early this Auguest and recived my AIP the a little over a month later.Hi, I am an Indian citizen, but was born, completed my education and at present working in UAE. Apparently this is very common thing with Filipinos. One of my colleague is part of several such DIY groups and they openly admit to doing this & have lot of success stories. Could be a loophole, but none of the groups I asked this outside Philippines suggested to do this as it could result in misrepresentation.I’m not sure with SDS India but I know a lot of my fellow Filipinos who applied and used their Philippine address in the application but they were actually working / temporarily residing in the UAE.
