Experienced people and seniors please guide,

I am planning to land on 15th sept 2015 in Alberta. I am planning to carry 1000 cad with me in cash as i am planning for 15 days stay for now. remaining settlement fund (11089-1000 = 10089 cad) can i show in form of Indian bank's savings account statement?
There are many other people having same question in their mind. Please helps us by replying to this message.
