hi..

all indian students plz share ur college and intake.
i am going for fall intake in Algonquin college.

It may help others.

Thanks
Yashesh

Yashesh,
Why Algonquin ? It may not be the best place for getting part time jobs weather is a bit colder. Hope its not because your "consultant" chose this beacuse that is where he can get commisions. If on the other hand you have friends or family near Ottawa then it may be a good alternative. Regarding admissions, next week I expect many seats to become open as the deadline for fees is July 9 in many colleges and many have yet to get their student loans approved and cannot meet this deadline. Question is whether you will have enough time for your bank loan and visa.

prashjcha,
what was the process you went through to get admissions at Humber .. was it through a consultant or you applied directly? Did they say you needed to do some test or get your educational qualifications verified by someone at your college/univ in India? Thx.

Hi amathen

I applied through a consultant...they didnt ask for any test or verification...my all the documents were send to them after verifying them with a notary...and i already send them the transcripts also so they can judge what i have studied in my degree and diploma...it was a simple process...my consultant send them the docs with the application form and application fee...i got the offer letter with in a month....they might have verified my docs on there own ...dont know exactly what they would have done with my application after reaching in their hands...I applied for a PG diploma program...

Hi yashesh,

Can u tell me wat was ur IELTS score in each module and have u applied for undergraduate course or postgraduate course, SPP or without SPP?

thanks

guys Humber folks requires original TRF for IELTS.
can i send them an xerox copy attested by some notary or valid authority?

If i request British Council to directly send it to humber, it will take another couple of weeks and cause delay in my apps.

kia karoon ?

Hasnaat

The attested xerox copy will work for humber as i have also got the offer letter from humber using a xerox copy.

Regards,
Hardeep
