Can I apply for my police clearance certificate via passport seva. Their link is

If you see in the link in the middle of the page it says, other services, and below that it says police clearance certificate.

So is it ok to apply via passport seva, or do I need to go to the superintendent of police???

I thought passport seva was an extension of the passport office to make things easier for the general public?

So are u saying passport seva is no good and a police clearance certificate from them is different to what the passport office would give?

In Delhi , U can Make PCC online and within 2 3 days u will get the same in 3 4 days maximum ( online copy with digital sign )

How is the PCC given at PSK different for the one that is given by State police, I live Hyderabad...our police takes a while to give PCC...so i got it from PSK...is it ok?

Hi Schandra,

Im in Hyderabad and it took 2 hours for me from the time i got my token in PSK. (PSK - Towlichowki)., Also, getting a slot in PSK is a pain....all the slots are booked between 4:30 to 4:32 PM...so keep a eye.

not so painful actually bro...they have separate tokens for PCCs which starts with a "P" but still you have to go through all the three counters....best part is you'll get it the same day (within few hours) unlike the Police dept which takes around 15 days. could'nt send my app to CIC because despite having everything ready i screwed up IELTS...overall 7.5 but writing 5.5 . Fingers crossed to see if CIC extended the submission date to 31st Apr'15, if they dont then Express Entry zindabad ! Good luck to you and cheers !

got all border marks..and one thing bro..im little confused...u said express entry is starting from Apr'15...? cos ppl say that

I have to submit police clearances certificates. As. I have lived two places in india i:e patiala & gurgaon (from 2008 june to october 2014).same way i have mentioned address in background declration form.
I have obtained from patiala & gurgaon police clearance certificate.however gurgaon pcc is from june 2009 onwards instead of june 2008 . My doubt is whether pcc should be exactly as per address mention in immigration documents. Will this create problem ??????
