PCC is country specific, one PCC will be sufficient from India. It can be from Commissioners/ SSP office or from RPO.

That means, from the specified official bodies I can take PCC either from my hometown / work city where I stayed 8 years, right?

Correct, normally Passport office/ Police issue PCC on the address mentioned in the passport.

My passport address is of my work city, but presently I can make it from my hometown easily as my friends can help me there only. If the hometown police gives the PCC though the address is in different city, will it be acceptable for Canada PR?

VO will accept PCC obtained from your hometown police.

This is really great information. I am much clear now.

Regarding PCC format, do I need to prepare a PCC in specific format with specific details or SP office / RPO will have their own format to update with my personal details and give me a PCC?

Any one know / experienced with Andhra Pradesh Police departments..pls advise?
