Hi All,

I need help here, I stay in Toronto and I got ITA for PR in June, I applied for PCC in BLS Toronto through Postal services, My Passport has a old address and my family now moved to new room in same building. When I was applying for PCC I called BLS and asked what address should I put in India Address section the passport one or the latest one where my family is staying , BLS representative asked me to put Passport address even if that is old address. I applied accordingly and now I got to know that local Police rejected my PCC due to wrong address. When I called them and explained this whole situation they said it is not mandatory to put the address in PCC for as what you have in Passport , you should put the latest address where your family stays. Could you please help me with next step what should I do to get my PCC approved?

I tried calling BLS but they said give us a day or 2 will let you know, but I am not sure if I will get any fruitful response from them so posting this situation here. Appreciate your help.

So now are you changing to the new address different from the one on the passport for verification?

Hi All, I received my PCC last week, I got an email from India Embassy Toronto on 14th September stating that they received Indian Police comments on my application as Incorrect Address so please provide your parents Address proof for which we will reinitiate the PCC. I sent them my Mother's Aadhar card on 15th September. After that I was following up with them for an update on my application there was no response from embassy and on 16th October they sent me a scanned copy of my PCC in email and then on 20th October I received the hard copy through postal.

Hope this will help :)

Hi @Shweta51190 .. please had a query. I am also in same situation. My passport has old address, and in the application form also the old address was put. Have the following queries, could you please answer:
1. So when you got mail from indian embassy about incorrect address, was your canada pr application rejected?
Or you just had to reinitiate the PCC with new address, and submit the new PCC to IRCC?
2. Were you needed to update your passport address, or just submitting a proof of your new address was fine?

Please could you reply, since i have a passport verification scheduled for my old address on passport.. which is in india.. and could be prepared accordingly.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Juno
