India PCC from Toronto

Can we get PCC directly from India from the local SP office? Does anyone apply for it? and I heard that you can get it really fast.
The format of PCC is a bit different. Does any get PCC directly from the SP office?

I am in CANADA.

It’s better to take from Bls. They don’t accept pcc taken from India.

Congratulations on your PCC, did you take an appointment to submit the docs at BLS Brampton? Also, did you go to the walkin address mentioned below, I am planning to go next week walk in, i dont have an appointment, would they entertain me, or appointment is mandatory -

is there a new rule, that the principal applicant need to have a spouse name in the passport for BLS to accept your application in the first place, looks like an evil "Backdated rule" which might hurt a lot of people and push them to apply changes in the passport in tatkal....

No Appointment Required. You Can Walkin but be ready for an hour in line. There are 2-3 counters so line moves good. I submitted on 20th still it says Processing at CGI. No notification from PSK.

I submitted my pcc application on 14 th July, 2020 from Canada, Surrey. Today it has 6 weeks and I haven't heard back anything

Can someone suggest what can I do to heighten my case?
 
Need help with my case, I submitted my pcc on July 29 and on Aug 25 my pcc verifcation done back home, and today my passport sewa kendra site showing that they don’t have any status for my file, I don’t know what to do, its made me panic, please help if someone know more about it.
 
Hi - My police verification happened a week ago, and now on psk website it shows the error message. Earlier it was showing status as under review.

The status of the entered File Number is not available in the system

Has this happened with anyone before?
