What's your application status on BLS international website?

If your application is still "processing at Consulate General" then call Consulate General of India and ask them your application status. If it's open these days then plan a visit (Not sure if appointment is needed, call them ASAP before visit)
I received a mail that Police Verification Request has been sent to the Police department (refer the following table for details) for your PCC Application submitted. It is showing Police station of my India location. I have my last day to submit application by this month end. How to address this to IRCC. Did any one facing similar situation. How ITCC will treat this?

It seems hard to receive your pcc by end of this month. You can submit your application without pcc with Loe and submit later.

I sent my docs on July 2nd.
I see an update in bls portal and the application status is Returned.
What does it mean? Anybody faced this?
It means they did not processed your application. Try to get your application or call BLS to know the reason.. Its very strange but this is how things are functioning now a days. BLS is holding application with them for long time and then validating..

I had same situation.

Police officer would give your home number (one you have mentioned in your application) a call and ask a few question about you and would approve your application subsequently. Once your application is approved by local police officer online, your application would be processed at Consulate General and you'd receive your PCC in a week.

Talk to Consulate General and make them aware about your situation. It worked for me. I called them and they processed my application quickly since my application status was already approved.

Thank you for the response. Customer care told, parent name is not exactly same as my passport and returned my docs. My passport has only first name of my parents, To correct this in pcc application I need to wait to receive returned document and then again send and wait for 20 days quarantine.. looks like it ll take ages to get pcc.. soo disappointed.. pickup and drop courier charge I have to pay again whic is 90cad for me and my wife.

I submitted LOE for PCC last week, still didn't get any acknowledgment from IRCC but here is the format which I submitted, hope it helps.

To,

The Immigration Officer,

IRCC, Government of Canada,

Canada.

Subject: Letter of explanation for Police Clearance Delay for Express Entry-CEC application (Application no. - XXXXXXXXX)

Dear Officer,

I want to thank you for the invitation to apply for the Permanent Residency received <Date> under the Express Entry-CEC/FSW stream. I have uploaded all the required documents on the CIC web portal, however, I am still waiting for my Police Clearance Certificate for India.

Currently, due to the COVID-19 situation, the processing time of Police Clearance is extremely slow, I already applied for the Police Clearance Certification and I have been following up with Indian Embassy in Canada but as per them, my application will take some more time to complete due to current situation of COVID.

I am attaching my application which I submitted for India PCC, along with their official fees in this document as proof.

I will submit my Police Clearance Certificate using IRCC-Web Form as soon as I get it, I request you to continue verifying my other documents.

Sincerely,

I submitted my PCC application at BLS Brampton yesterday. The lady at the counter said it would take about a month to get delivered to me. I also recall hearing the other counter person mentioning 6 weeks to the previous candidate. So, not sure how much time it would really take. Any idea what the current timelines are looking around?

Documents sent to BLS - July 3rd (by Canadapost, but it was my mistake, always send through Purolator, but dont worry if you make a mistake like me :) )
Documents reached BLS - July 7th
BLS started processing my application -- July 13th
Documents reached at CGI -- July 15th
Police verification initiated -- July 21st
- I got call on this day from BLS to pay for my return envelop as I sent Canadapost return envelop with my application, so paid $30)
Police verification completed in India by local police -- July 23rd
Hi my documents were reached at the same time, July 7th and since then there has been no updates on the trackin website, "records not found" should i call them to check on the application or i dk what is happening here

UPDATE: Just called them, they said there has been a backlog of requests and my status will be updated by this friday. But I don't have any trust in them.
