India passport renewal

hello guys

My husband who I will be marrying in Feb 2017 already has a indian passport which expires in Nov of 2017. My question is can he /should he renew his passport before I submit Canadian spouse paperwork. cuz I dont know if it will delay the application if his passport expires during the application bring processed. Or should he wait closer to his expiration date for passport re equal.

Its advisable to do it before as NDVO takes lot of times to process additional service requests like passport update.

ok thank u, cuz I will be submitting his spousal application in March of 2017. and his passport expires in Nov of 2017. I will tell him go get it renewed asap.
