I did the medicals on 23rd hopefully they will update my medicals soon..
Really happy that many are recieving medical requests from NDVO ..

Medical Request - 23/12/2016

Medical Done - Possibly 28 or 29/12/2016

As per CIC rule during medical your Passport expiry should be atleast one year. But My Passport expiry is 26/12/2017.

Is it ok to submit Passport copy ?

My suggestion is to submit your current passport because in India you cannot ask for renewal of your passport till expiry date is within coming 3 months..so you don't have any other option

Thanks. But in website they said u can renew up to 1 year before the expiry . Please clarify .

Yes I have crossed check and you are right that you can renew the passport within one year of expiry ..so my suggestion is to renew your passport and then go for medicals.. obviously it will delay the process buts it's always have to follow correct path rather then being pointed by immigration to correct our path later so don't go for medicals with your current passport ..as it's due to expire ..also..if you are living on same address and city as of your current passport then passport renew is not that lengthy.

Hi Raman

I believe it will be ok as my passport expires next year december, only 1 week less than 1 year validity. Even if I receive my visa in April/May, I can have have it changed later in Canada...

Any thought on this guys... :'(
