Hi guys, hope you all are preparing well for the immigration process

I have a couple of doubts.

I never had a birth certificate. I live in Delhi, but I was born in a different state. I recently (2-3 years ago) went to the city I was born in and got a birth certificate and on that it does not have my name (maybe I was not named when i was born) and my mothers name is spelt totally incorrectly.

Now can you please tell me what should I do? Or should I send any other documents instead of that birth certificate, like class x th certificate.

guys lets me exactly what is the best solution for this.

I have secondary school passing certificate and marksheet. Is that what you are talking about

That only has my name, my DOB and my fathers name. The passing certificate only has my fathers initials and sir name. Not the full name. Is that going to be a problem.

Do I or my parents need to get any affidavits done.

Do I need to write on paper as to why I am not enclosing my birth certificate?
 
Kinda same issue I had ( M from Delhi Only )

But MCD helped me a lot in this regard and I got my Birth certificate in couple of weeks.

Point here is to ask/request higher mgmt professional regarding your issue , m sure they definitely gonna help u.

Bro, i live in delhi but I was born in some other state. So its abit difficult for me to leave everything and go to the other state just to get my mothers name corrected on my birth certificate??
Any other alternatives?
 
Affidavit would be good ... as far as correction is concern.

Who should prepare affidavit, applicant or parents? Do we need to attach source document also along with affidavit?
 
Hey,

Affidavit need to be made by the name of your Mother, where she declare both her Husband and you as a son.

This is what I did initially.

But I took chance for MCD certificate , and by luck they helped me alot and prepared the same.

I would still request you , still take chance for your concern Municipal Corporation, and request them .... they will definitely help you.

Have faith in god.

1. My father prepared an affidavit for me. Is it ok without my mother?

2. The agency says, along with affidavit I have to produce the source document also notarized by which the advocate prepared the affidavit. Is it necessary?
 
I believe, in an affidavit both parents needs to be included.
 
Then it is fine.
