Increasing CRS Score

Hi, I am enrolling in a 2-year program at GBC. I heard that doing a distant learning program is one way to boost up your score. My question is that will a combination of a 2-year program+1 university certificate/diploma will actually boost up? How many points are awarded for that combination? And could you suggest what are some ways to increase my CRS score?
Thank you so much and have a great day.

To be able to obtain points under 'Two or more degrees'. One of the programmes you had attended must be of at least 3 years in length.

You won't be able to boost your CRS with a 2 year and 1 year certificates. One of your certificates needs to be at least for 3 years.

My niece have a BSc Degree in accounting which is 4 years program, after 5 years college. Her CRS score is 475.
And CIC just release the cut-off point at 525 point. If she register for one year program in Canada, will that boost her score just by registering?
Unfortunately, getting a job offer with LMIA appears to be very difficult. I am a Canadian citizen living in Alberta. How can I be of help to boost her score please,
Thanks for helping

She needs to fully complete the education program in Canada and graduate to get the points. I would think it's pretty obvious that just registering doesn't get you points. You have to fully complete the program.

Points are only for siblings living in Canada as PRs or citizens. So no points for you.

Don't waste money in college programs.
Make her learn french for one year and if she gets CLB 7 in a french exam her score will boost up to 530.

I am a self employed consultant, having a Limited Liability company here in Canada. It's just me alone. I thought of giving her a job offer, but I can't pay her wage, cos the job is really not steady. So I can't pay even afford to pay her minimum wage. Is there any way out through that route?

No way through that route unless you can pay her a full salary and can also obtain an approved LMIA.

She's actually an orphan with her younger brother. Though they're both just above 18 years. But no job and no support from any. Thought of adopting them. Can one adopt someone more than 18 years of age?
They are too old to be adopted.

May I suggest, just waiting some time? This surge is points will settle and come down in about an year time or lesser..
