Hi folks,
I have a CRS score of 435 and my application is in Express Entry pool since Feb'18. Like all of you, I'm also waiting for the desirable cutoff to get an invitation. But in recent months the score has never gone below 440 and I started looking for possible options to increase my Cutoff score like most of you.
1.First one is to write IELTS again, which I'm planning to give on August.
2.Second one is to do a one year PG Diploma degree through which I can get extra marks under "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. "section . I found a course 'PGDCA' which is a one year 'Distance education' course offered by 'Alagappa university' (One of the recognized universities by UGC).
My question here is on the second point.
1. Whether WES approves distance education credentials upon providing transcript?
2. PGDCA degree certificate/transcript won't have 'Distance education' mentioned. So whether WES treats this as a regular course and provide marks?
I hope some of you must have gone through similar situations and I kindly request them and other members to provide their answers/ suggestions and clear some air.
Thanks,
Surya
