Hi,

I am an Indian citizen who has been a resident of Kuwait for the past 4 years. I have selected the Abu Dhabi office in my FSW 2014 application. I have just been told that I should be selecting the London office. Is this a reason for rejection?

Has anyone faced a similar issue?

Thanks.

Yes you have to select LVO ......any how if you are lucky enough Nova Scotia office may ask you to submit new generic form with edited visa office .....otherwise office may return your application .......

Buddy - I am living in Dubai and I could'nt select Abu Dhabi as the VO because they are not listed :). You have to go by NDVO or LVO.

Should I just go ahead and send them a corrected Generic Application Form via DHL?

Its never rejection .....there is huge difference between rejection and returned any how you may get a chance to courier fresh generic with cover letter but do mention your date of birth and full name in cover letter so that at initial stage they have only this clue to find your application

We have seen both cases in this forum. Some people had their application returned while others had their application routed to the correct VO. So, it really depends on the case officer. Good luck to you.

Hi,

My wife and I live in Dubai but mentioned Abu Dhabi Office which is incorrect, we know now. However, my CC was charged a few days ago. Does it still mean that our application will be returned or routed to the correct VO?

You should be fine.

I don't think this is a reason for rejection any which ways, although I do not know of anybody specific who has had his/her app rejected because the requested VO was incorrect.

CIC knows where to route the application, although it may boil down to picking one VO should the applicant qualify for multiple VOs, and could result in CIC just returning the APP, if there has been any such cases in the past.

Thanks Nishesh.. we are Indians living in Dubai, so qualify for both New Delhi and London VOs.

Hi,

I guess I have the same issue,
I have been living in UAE for the last 10 years, and I selected Abu Dhabi as the processing office. I havent noticed or read before it should be London office.
Will that be again an issue?

Your application will most likely be forwarded to London VO by CIC.

Dear Members,

I have applied for FSW on 15th September 2015. I have received PER from CIC.

Till now everything is going right. But today I received an email stating that my application has been sent to Warsaw Visa office.

I am living in India and hence I have mentioned New Delhi, as Visa office in my application. I am not sure why it has been sent to Warsaw office.

any one here has faced such situation. Please let me know.

Thanks

It is fine! I live in UAE too.

I wrote Abu Dhabi on my application, but CIC forwarded my application to London Visa Office.

Don't worry.
