I'm currently inside Canada on a study permit that is valid until 30th April 2023. While trying to apply for extension,, the questionnaire which produces a personalized checklist asked about staying in another country for more than 6 months in the last year. I answered "No" assuming they meant the year before 30th April 2023 as that is the date I am seeking extension from.
However after submitting the application I realised that they meant the year before the date of submission, based on which I should've answered "Yes".
I have sent out webform to address this but I'm wondering if the answers in the questionnaire for checklist can be flagged as misrepresentation as well? All the details in my application package were true except for this misunderstanding.
I tried to act asap and submitted webform 2 days after the submission of application, could they still ban me for this?
