Hi,

I have created my own incorporation in my work permit and received my salary from an US Company. I transferred my salary from my incorporation to my personal account. Can I add this as my work experience? If so, what details I should give in the work experience section as they need the company details. Should it be my actual client or my incorporation details? Please confirm.

Is this for Canadian or foreign work experience. For Canadian, your salary must be taxed with deductions of EI/CPP and shown on your paystub. You need an issued T4 too so moving your salary to a personal account is not enough.

So you are in Canada and not counting Canadian work experience at the same time? You include business incorporation, business contracts/receipts to prove the NOC etc. On the IRCC site for EE mandatory documents is a list of documents if self employed.

Yes, My understanding is as you mentioned, we need to have T4. I consider myself as a self employed person and paid taxes accordingly. Sure, I will add all the documents. My concern is when we create the profile, we will add the company name and its details in the work experience. In that , should I add my incorporation details or the actual client I am getting business from? Please confirm.
