Incomplete Application returned for FSW, 2014 PR VISA

Hi Everyone,

I have just jointed this forum as I was a guest for some time who use to be a continues reader on all the hot topics which provided me the insite to the Immigration process for Canada. But, now I think I would need your continous advise on every minute step that I need to take to suceed in my dream for Canadian PR.

My application was sent to Canada for PR last year in Oct 7, 2013
Returned on Jan 15th 2014, as the Cap reached to 300 I applied for NOC 2281 Computer network technicians

I applied for PR Application again in May 2014 to much of my surprise it was 1000 this time as you all know. But I am quite shattered today that I have got my entire Docs back again (I know this could just be the beginning.)

Application sent: May 6th, 2014
Application Received in CA, Sydney NS May 12th, 2014
Application Docs returned and received today 30th July, 2014 as Incomplete Application– Regulation (R) 10 of IRPA

I have seen people complaining about various reasons but here is what I have to say. I applied on 2281 Computer network technicians. I have total 7.5 years of IT exp. And the Job Duties letters attached are as per the NOC JD requirements. However, I have got the denial as the first JOB duties performed are not matching with NOC 2281. To be honest, I am confused that this is not true….
I had worked in my 1st MNC for 2.5 years and that again was relevant
Then I worked for 4 years in other MNC (No Comments on this being relevant or not?)
Currently working in 3rd MNC from last 1 year (No Comments on this being relevant or not?)
Anyways the point is now I have to resend my application again with edited Duties as per NOC and what will be the next outcome. I need to know if anyone has been through the same situation before. Please enlighten me as I am desperate.

2 times your application back. Now they keep notice you for next time also. Better stay away try for USA. Good Luck.

Post on this thread for the Seniors to respond faster (Other ppl have asked similar queries in the past few pages). It'd also be helpful if you list out the Job Duties as listed as per NOC and what you wrote in your reference letter so that they can judge-

can u send an email to confirm noc you fall under to NOC-CNP <noc-cnp@workingincanada.gc.ca>;

it will help you a lot to find your exact code and they are official

But the issue is not identifying the correct NOC but there review process. I am sure that I included the correct NOC but somehow it got rejected. I have paid a hefty amount to these Visa Consultants who now have to answer all my queries once I meet them in person.

Currentluy I am information system consultant but as per my prev. exp I was a Technician with network support. Its a bit tricky as my consultants suggested me to change it to 2281 this time as last time I applied for 2147 which doesnot exist anymore

WHAT NEED TO BE DONE IS TO SEE SPECIFICALLY YOUR PRESENT JOB, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES . THEN YOUR QUALIFICATION AND THEN MATCH THE TWO.

Hi Zander18,

I'm just curious about your estimated points. Do you think that even if they didn't consider your 2.5 years work experience on your first company you will still be able to get 67 points or above?

hi...with such denial from CIC, I am also now confused & concerned.

I have 10+ years of experience.

3+ in current organization- NOC-2133....all the contract papers+salary slips+promotion letter+joining letter available. reference letter not available.
5 Years in Previous organization-A - NOC 2133....all the contract/joining/re-leaving papers available + reference letter available as per CIC requirement.
1 year in Previous organization -B- NOC 2133....all the contract/joining/re-leaving papers available. reference letter not available....denial mail from HR available.
1 year in previous organization-C- NOC 2133...all the contract/joining/re-leaving papers available....reference letter not available...
8 months in previous organization-D- NOC 2133...all the contract/joining/re-leaving papers available....reference letter not available...

My final score is just 67. consdiering full marks for experience....so I am on the edge.
I had worked more then 6 years for my NOC, only that CIC should believe it with above papers.

can anyone advice, is im at risk of denial?

Worse comes to worse, you will atleast get the points for the 5 years with Organization A. I suggest you try to work on your Organization B, so that you would get a full 6 years points. Since you were able to get a denial mail from HR, try to make sure that all your supporting documents for Organization B will contain all the required information required by CIO. Try to get your previous manager to send you a signed reference letter with your duties and responsibilities as well. And don't forget to ask for his business card.
