Hello,
I prepared my wife’s spouse sponsorship application and I am unable to get her certified copy of birth certificate because of COVID-19. Is there any chance I can submit her application without certified copy of birth certificate? I already have a translation copy in English and copy of original birth certificate.

I am exactly in the same boat. I have a certified translation copy in English and a photocopy of the original birth certificate, but not the certified copy. I wonder now what would happen to my application.

@canuck_in_uk I read the link in the first post. Not sure what I should have learnt from it. Please kindly indicate.

If you have the original, what is preventing you from getting certified copy? Should be a trip to lawyer or notary.
