Hello again, I've reached another bit that leaves me a little unsure of what to do.
I'm a Canadian currently living in the UK with my common-law partner who is English. My visa allowing me to live and work here expires on the 26th of February, 2017. I'm hoping to sponsor my partner through the Common-law Family Class Sponsorship.
IMM 5540 question 11 asks for proof of intention to re-establish in Canada, including a Property Rental Agreement, which I am able to attain - but not sure on whether to have my future landlord include my partner on this Agreement. I'm confused as I can imagine it may be a bit presumtuous to include her due to her obviously not yet being accepted to live in Canada, but might it not also look good to CIC that my partner and I have signed a Rental Agreement together and are ready to live together, in Canada, in a committed fashion; and that my landlord will be aware of my partner possibly living me?
I just can't help but think it may be strange to show that if my partner has a chance of being able to come back to Canada with me in February, I've only provided CIC with a Rental Agreement showing that only I will be renting the property.
Thanks in advance, as this has been a bit of a head-scratcher for me and one of the last things we've got to worry about in our application before sending it in.
