Include I797A - H1B Holders applying for Express Entry

I am a current H1B holder and have currently included my I797 A document along with my identity documents in the express entry upload. I wanted to ask, if that is necessary? Could anyone let me know?

Not necessary, why do you want to include I797? It is not related to your PR application.

Great! Thats what I thought. I just wanted to confirm. Ill just upload the passport copy then. I wasnt sure if I797 should be a part of the identity documents but then when I thought about it, it didnt make much sense from a Canadian PR application standpoint.
