Please clear your inbox before PM'ing me. Its pretty irritating to write a long reply only to find that your inbox is full.

If you have lots of question, it is best to post your message on the forum, for many reasons:

a) I am no expert in immigration but collectively in this forum, we have more experience. You can then look at what everyone else is saying and decide which makes the most logical sense.
b) I am busy, so might not have time to reply immediately to long PMs but collectively, someone will reply fast. If noone replies, it means we don't know the answer and don't want to lead you down the wrong path.
c) By posting your message, you are giving an opportunity to future applicants with similar questions to know the answers upfront.

Sometimes, in my replies I point to www.cic.gc.ca. This is because I can see from your question that you don't have the basics and it is really for your good that you read through that website. It will clear a lot of your question. Trying to apply without making an attempt at reading that website has a high probability of resulting in disaster.

Finally, a question like 'should I fill in my surname in the surname box?' is not a question I'd like to answer. If I am not doing this as a job and I do have LOTS of other more important work to do (at least more important to me ha ha), then I would like to know you are thinking about your questions and would like to answer more important questions or would like to help address difficulties arising in various situations.

Hopefully, some of those people PM'ing me will read this before I delete this topic.

Question to "Rupeshhari": Why do you entertain PM’s and not ask individual/forum members to post there query/question on forum message board. As I believe questions which are coming to you directly and there response may be a good patron for knowledge sharing for all members (special New Member in this forum). I have seen in this forum that everyday someone come with a unique query which may be simple or complex but members within forum always discuss/debate and at the end been able answer most, if not all

I've had this happen too with the full inbox. Some people seem to just PM everybody in the hopes of getting a lot of answers but of course then their inbox is full and they actually get fewer answers. I can understand not everybody would like to discuss their cases in detail on the board for all to see. Even if they did and we could all learn from the answers they get, how often do people really do a search before they ask about something? Seems to me that a lot of the questions repeat themselves over and over again.

Maybe somebody should get together with the moderator on this board and write an "info for dummies" manual for each topic and stick it so it stays at the top.

one moderator did message me recently and i did ask him the above question last weekend, lets see if i get a reply.
i asked if my common question topic could be stuck to the top. The other problem is that i have to lock it because as soon as people start asking question on that topic itself, it gets too bulky and too hard to wade through all the questions to get to one point.

Actually, if you want to disable messages, you can do so by going to your Profile and picking Personal Message Options. You will then get a window and to the left of it, it says:

Ignorelist:
Add one Username on each line.
Or enter * to ignore all messages.

I haven't actually tested this myself though :)

I understand i will not need to do the eilts as a an english born citizen.

Do the above need to be notorised as i heard the dont if a UK citizen.

MyUniversity envelope is stamped at the back so CIC can tell if opened or not.

OK: Lets see:

1)You will have to renew your police certificate as that has to be latest. That is the country you presently leave in.
2)Reference letters are very useful to prove experience and responsibilities.
3) Your transcripts (In a sealed Envelope) will help them to five you the necessary points in Education.
4).Even though you are a UK citizen(born and bread) you will still have to write something to prove your proficiency.
5): Proof of funds is very good.

Your "Documents update letter from the CIC"will tell you what to notariz and will also tell you all other documents that they require.

Jason,

Have you received a Documents update letter? If you applied in January 2007 u should have received one by now.

Hope this helps!!

hi......

well rupesh is not anyone's personal visa consultant.....or for that matter BC guy or leon or PMM
Any doubts can be posted on the forum and discussed .

smaller issues can be sorted out amongst ourselves only .
For bigger and complicated ones we will obviously need seniors to help us....
why bother them with small things....I know this statement of mine may ignite a furious reaction as the person who is applying, for him the smallest doubt is a big thing

apologies to all those who may be hurt
