Inadmissiblity questions

Hi I'm trying to find out if my husband is inadmissible or not.
He had some charges withdrawn and also one dui that was dropped down to just a minor driving offence and I want to sponsor him to come to Canada. We have hit a lot of road bumps so any help would be appreciated

Yes from when he was here. He left in 2017 because his visa expired but the charges are from 2016 but there is no criminal record because they were withdrawn

Thank you for your help. I definitely won't hide it. They can find out anything you try to hide for sure so best to just be upfront and honest.
I will feel better when I get more opinions because I thought because he wasn't actually convicted and there's no criminal record he would will be able to be sponsored still. But just want to hear from other people as well.
