Hello Sir,

I was an international student in United States. After a year I travelled holiday and on returning back the boarder protection officer found out I was working on a student visa so they refused me entry said am inadmissible cos I violated my visa for working as a student without work permit. My removal was upon arrival expedited removal as they call it. So I wasn’t deported.

Now am interested in Express Entry to Canada. Please will this be entry denial be a problem for me? Could this make me inadmissible to Canada?

Thank you.

It might not be a problem but you have to tell them the truth in the application and answer all statutory questions.

Not an issue. Although you will answer "Yes" to a statutory question about whether you were deported/removed/refused entry to any country in the past. You will have to make an additional effort in explaining the circumstances.
But this doesn't render you inadmissible in Canada. No crime committed here.
