Job Offer........

LANDED..........
30-06-2011
Dear all senior members...
Today one of my friend received a letter from chc, london via chc, Riyadh stating that "this reffers to your request for withdrawal of application for PR in canada......... and your processing fee will be sent to you in 8-12 weeks".
The problem is that he did not intimate the visa office for the withdrawal of application. He sent the full application to the visa office in december and the letter he received today is dated 27th of october.
what is the solution for this now?
His time lines are as follows:
Aor from nova scotia on 27 august '09..
full document sent in december before the deadline..
Todays letter issued on 27 of october '09 and received by him 20/01/2010..

All seniors please help in this .... because his full application package is still in the visa office and also his e-case status is disabled.

did it arrive during his 120day period?

HE should contact the visa office.

Yes he did receive it in 120 days time. means exaclty 60 days after the receiption of AOR sent by NS sydney.
He received the AOR on 27 of august '09 and this letter is dated 27th of october '09.
He already contacted the chc, london in this matter via case specific enquiry yesterday.
any other solution for this?

not that i know of. I guess he could speak to a consultant to represent him but its probably expensive and its best to wait for CHC to reply. Also even if it comes back in the negative, it might be easier to just apply again than go through consultant. Just my opinion. Good luck to him.

Thanks rupeshhari for your quick reply. u r great..
Actually the problem is that:
we 4 friends take IELTS the same day....
we applied to NS sydney on the same day....
we all got AOR from sydney via email on the same day...
we all together prepare our documents in the 120 days time... and
send the full application to chc london on the same day...
now if one friend drops/delays just for nothing ... then this is some thing disturbing...

what was the date of the AOR from NS? because the 120days period starts on the date of the letter, not from when your friend received the letter

Its disturbing for that applicant only. I wouldn't be disturbed about it if I were you because your status didn't change. Be worried for your friend but hopefully he can sort it out.

@rupeshheri and apache..

he did send it in the specified 120 days.
his 120 days were supposed to be expire on 27th december as he got the AOR from NS sydney on 27th august.
he sent his full application package to the visa office on 12th december which were received by them on 17th december means 10 days before the date expires. but
the letter(withdrawal for application of PR in canada) he received yesterday by the visa office is dated 27th of november.

by what means did he receive his AOR - regular mail or email? if its by regular mail, then it means the date of the AOR will have to be earlier that when he actually received it. in that case, 120days period have started even when the mail is just on its way to your friend

sorry, i re-read your posts, and i noticed you all received your AOR by email. so there must be some hiccups in their system. better advice your friend to send an email to CHC explaining all the facts. attached the AOR as proof that the date was 27 Aug, include a copy of your receipt with the courier, and if the courier has online tracking, better include a printout too when the package was delivered to them. i guess this will have some weight when he presents his case

good luck!

he received the AOR from NS sydney via e-mail, dated 27th august.

yesterday he send mail the chc london. explaining them the whole situation. we gave reference of the AOR received.
we also let them know about the full application package, that it has already been delivered to the chc london.
we provide them with the tracking number of fedex courier and also the name of the person who received the shipment.
what if it not worked?

i guess that will do. it will be up to chc london. lets hope everything will just be sorted out
