Hello folks, I've noticed that the ecas status was updated to "In processing" for my FSW application. I'm considering changing jobs at the moment, will the job change affect my processing time or will the VO just check on the items that were presented during the time of application?

There is no law that forbades applicats from switching jobs while the application is under processing.

I have changed the job & informed CHC about it.

You don't need to wait for ur file to finalize for changing job.

Oppurtunity comes rarely & u need to grab it.

I changed my job and informed immediately CHC. In CAIPS note mentioned that. Don`t worry to change but inform them with name and full address of new job place.

I am not quite sure what you mean by changing jobs.

If you applied as an IT professional and want to now be considered an architect that will be one hell of a change that will likely result in an unpleasant outcome.

If you are just getting a new job while waiting for your application to get processed, I would not even bother to inform anyone about it.

Hey thanks for the feedback and experience shared. Yes I'm considering changing to a similar role. I just don't want to delay the processing even more.

Hello! I was wondering if you have update on this?
I am sort of going through the same. I actually have a new job myself, but still with the same industry.
I am now on my meds request. I am torn whether to inform CIC of this change or not.
Looking forward for some answers to shed me some light.
Thank you!

Please inform your Visa Office of the change of job so that it will not look like you are hiding information. Changing of job will not affect your application as points have been awarded based on your past job

Thank you for your response. I was worried if this will cause a delay in my application.
I shall keep your advice. If i will write them, is there any advice you could give as to what to indicate in my email? Appreciate it so much.
