I think you mentioned that her medicals have expired. So it is highly likely that they are in the process of extending them so the visa can be issued.

@Mrs, i hope so cos this waiting thing is not funny at all.

I feel for you. Maybe ordering your GCMS notes would give you some indication of what is happening and what they are reviewing.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I landed on Feb. 05!! ;D

Good luck to everyone!!

Congratulations !

OMG i had to search 4 pages to find this thread!!! :o :o :o

anyway wanted to happily say that we went in person to Jordan (3h flight), we gave the passport and got the visa and copr in the same day!! it was an amazing experience to share!! ;D
the total from "in process" to ppr was 22 days; i wish same for everyone else

a quick question for those who got the copr already: the receiptionist told us that we find all the instructions in the brown envelope; but except the passport and copr there was nothing else; did any of u have something extra? :)

Hi missmini ,

My husband also got 5 pages of information about the visa, until when it is valid, some employment info and what to do after arriving in Canada.
I thing you should call or email the VO and ask them for it. It was probably an oversight on their behalf.

thank u Sharona i thought it should b something extra but it's ok; they have more important things to do then to send us guides; what was important it was there!!!
i'll start gathering all the info myself from their website; probably they have it from the same place anyways ;)

I am now in the In Process stage, I got my GCMS notes which state my medical has expired and I will need to redo it but they didn't state that on my ECAS. Should I get them done now or wait? How long does it take for them to get back to me when the stage is now "In Process". My wife is ready to go get her medicals redone but I don't know if this will make my process take longer or not. Any thoughts or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

My advice for you is to wait for them to give you further instruction or send them email to ask them if you may go ahead to do the medical or not cos you may not want to waste money for remedical in case they also want you to do something else.

Im in process since 14.Feb 2013 and till now nothing

Since my stupid attorney did not inform us of, or give us the option to pay the RPRF upfront, Ours was requested on the 19th of February, which is the same day that our ECAS went into "in process". We paid the fee immediately and sent the scan of the receipt to our attorney the following day. We have yet to hear anything. I sent the usual "What the hell is going on?" email to Ottawa, but they replied telling that they do not have authority to speak with me since we have an attorney. We had my attorney email them two weeks ago and have still yet to hear anything. :(
