Good Day Everyone: Congrats to everyone who is having good progress. This whole process is getting me confused. I have ordered my notes. It states that I am in Process. However further down on my notes it says, Eligbility not started, Security Not Started, Criminality Not Started. I was thinking that to be in process, eligibility would have at least been completed. I have also emailed the VO in which they replied that I am in process Your thoughts please!! Thanks!!

@dandg, when you click on the in process link did it say " we started process your application on xxxx date? If it says application recieved without mentioning any date then don't count on the in process.

bbccanada: thank you for your response so that means even though i sent in my application in june of 2012 im still in for a very long wait :(

what is your timeline?

A few days ago I came across something regarding when e-cas changes to in-process vs. whether or not there will be an interview.

There is an idea that if you require an interview, your e-cas status will change to in-process after the interview. Thus, the idea is that if your status has changed to in-process without an interview request, you probably won't need one.

As I am curious regarding the truth to this, I put together a very short survey to be filled out.

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/N79DJW3

It might be interesting to see the results :)

what is taking them so long what are they actually doing in this stage after they approved that its genium?

Hi Nitzan,
I think that they do th background checks and that takes longer to peaple that lived in more than 1 place.
My husband saw this morning that he got an email to send his Passport to the VO. I think it was so quick becouse he never left Israel, so there was not much background checks...

I hope you get such an email soon to.

Some people will know, other people don't, so I believe there is an appropriate response for that. I'll take another look. :) Thanks for filling it out.

this is a very nice thread and nice survey Charlize :) congratulations for every "in process" member
yaaaay after almost 1 year we r "in process" too, since 10 days to be precise, i was so happy and excited lol a little sunshine in our cloudy life :( but of course now it's new stress: now u know that someone is actually checking u, reading ur life, looking at ur photos, has a say for your future, etc...
we got nothing from them yet - no request of documents, just in process directly; i hope it's good sign and pray that we won't need interview and all will go smoothly; i'll do more research myself and share with u if something interesting appears (in the threads i was active before and now most r done and i'm like a ghost)
i also ordered the gcms notes (a day before i saw the in process) so i hope i will see more things "passed"; so far we passed just the expired medicals ::)
good luck for all!! and pls share the survey results soon!!

Hey missmini,
