IN PROCESS FROM JUNE 30, 2010- HOW LONG IT TAKES? CAN ANYBODY HELP?

I have applied on 21st October, 2010.

Received first letter from CIC on 23rd December, 2009.

Submitted full Docs on 15th January, 2010.

Doc received date 19th January, 2010.

E-case status "In process" (your file was reviewed and we have stated processing on 30 June, 2010) on 30th June, 2010.


Can anybody tell me how long it might take for Medical? What can be the actual meaning of "your file was reviewed and we have stated processing on 30 June, 2010"?

Hi Robin

If your Visa Office is Singapore, you are in luck! I have found a few applicants in this forum whose applications are being processed in Singapore (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/all-bangladeshi-applicants-forum-t19664.870.html). They received their Medical and RPRF requests right after their application changed to 'In Process'.

January 2010 full docs senders got their medical in June 2010, February senders getting now. So its 5-6 or sometimes 7 months.

It really depends on the VISA ofiice. For example, I had submitted the full documents to CHC Kuala Lumpur on 16th November 2009. Got Medical Request on 10th December and finally I received the Immigration Visa on 08th February 2010.

My visa office is also Singapore and my status is "IN PROCESS" from June 22, 2010, but haven't received medical yet (
