I submitted my docs in singapore vo on 10 march & my status shows in process from 21 sep. They issued a letter on 20 sep for additional submission of post secondary official transcript for myself and spouse with a dead line of 45 days. I have already sent the docs which is received by vo on 4 oct. Pls comment on my case. When I am supposed to get medical request? What about my b/g check? Thanks.

This is in fact a good news. It suggests that your b/ground checks r going smoothly & almost nearing completion. Give it about 2 months from the ADS & u should get the Meds.

yes they are nowadays asking for additional documents.
They asked to me as well. they wanted my Masters Papers again even though I already submitted that with my full docs. I think they are doing it to delay the process so that they might get some leisure. Lol
They gave me 45 days too. Preparing it and gonna send soon.

Hi,

I am confused to read out that VO asking the docs thats are all ready submitted, what could be the reason, does it mean that CHC could misplaced the applicant docs anyway!

Any idea, as I have sent my docs in installments, means I have sent some docs like transcripts in sealed envelop, original birth certificate after 120 days deadline, cant imagine to get them misplaced?

I dont think so

They wanna delay the process, I think they have a stipulated time to reach decision on each file and they can only prolong this schedule by asking additional papers to applicants. I think they deliberately trash the again required paper(s) on the way to do this. very very mysterious indeed. Besides, they are asking for papers like proof of Relative's current stay in Canada through providing their Bank statements and income tax return. Some High commissions of Canada dont even ask for them initially on their visa office spec guide.

Ok, I do understand that its a tact to complete their time, but my query is that what should be the answer by applicant, if he has already sent the original docs, and if he is asked to send them again, and 45 days are given. What if applicant couldn't arrange the original docs, will they gona decline the case?

Should the applicant sent the proof of dispatch to CHC along with explanation that he has already submitted, will this be sufice?

No one has any video proof of the papers they sent to CIC. only you can tell what you dispatched and they can tell what they received. there is no 3rd witness of this thing who can give testimony to this.

But this is a clear ploy from them to reject more applications those are "IN PROCESS"
Many many applicants cant provide original papers twice or its tooo troublesome for them to gather them once again. yes, this is clearly a ploy from their part and they have clearly mentioned it that if applicant is failed to provide the papers in 45 days then they would be rejected.

We dont eat grass or leaves like animals, we got brains to identify these ill plots.

Thanks god, that those papers they required, I can manage within a week.

When did you receive additional document request from CHC? Is it after e-cash showed in process?

Received the letter after got the status changed to in process. They started processing of my application on 20 sep & issued the letter on same day. Any guess about next step? Time frame for medical request?

Additional paper request or medical papers within a week or so.

btw, did you provide the post secondary papers of you and your wife to CIC with your full docs at 1st place?
if yes, What do you think, why they asked for them again.

I submitted only post secondary certificates. As per chc guideline transcripts are required. Thats why they asked for transcripts. At this time I have submitted original transcripts in university sealed envelop. Is it okay? What do you think? Waiting for medical request. Do you guess about b/ground check at my present status? What about experience/education verification at my current status!

hey! i feel sad to hear the story again. it seems the VO is clicking a hide and seek game. when did you receive it ?have you received the ads letter after the case turn to "'ín process"? my status changed to 'in process'' on October 5,2010 but i have not received any letter yet. i do not know what''s gonna to reach to my mail box? might be a "'additional docs request"' or ......... only god knows! what do you think Mr. Janathan? if they issue a letter requesting adnl. docs on the same day , it wouldn't take only no more than 3 days to reach my mail box.but ...
again,i am afraid of missing docs or letters. it happened in the past . my second AOR was lost in postal service and i suffered a lot , do they send med. request in registered letter?

So talk to your postman.
be safe. send a case spec inquiry to the immigration officer asking him if their office asked you for any additional doc. tell him about the lost problems in BD.
