So..they are moving ahead with Apr 10th ITA and still holding up March 27th ITAs. This basically breaks the logic of going by ITAs and AORs..
I guess I hv to wait a little longer and see how it goes...

Going by ITAs and AORs are a good approximation, but there can be outliers. Your application might be an outlier. The reason I know this is because, a friend of mine who received the invitation with me has their application still in process. He inquired through the local MP and found that they were still doing the background check on him. I think it depends on the country you come too.

Hello Folks....Just checked my CIC account and it was showing updated and after sometime it was changed to submitted...Another thing I noticed is Background check is changed to "Not needed at this time" from "In progress".....

It's my lawyers email on the account, so I am not sure if he gets it or not...

I thought if you work with a lawyer, you don't have access to MyCIC, only to ECAS. As lawyers work through their portal instead, to which applicant has no access...

Most of the times its like that, But I created my profile at my own and then I went to lawyer and he overtook my account and did the necessary changes...

It goes by ITA, AOR and category but also complexity of an application. Every single application will not be in exact order, there will always be exception. I know a couple of ppl who applied with me and got PPR in June/July.

There can be a long wait from DM too. (hoping its not though!). Ur time is going to come too

Do you think it also dpends on how long were you staying here in canada can also be a basis? So if you're in canada for less than a year, your application will take longer than people who stayed here for more than a year.

No dnt think that has any impact at all. I have been here more than 3.5 yrs and have been waiting since May for any news on my application.

I see you have DM on sep 16. No news after that? In the last week there have been a lot of DM but hardly any PPR

Got good news. Just 30min earlier i receive pp!! Finally! Now i can finally relax
To answer your question, after DM on sep 16, no changes, not until tonight ü

It's totally not fair if that's what they do, because it would mean that there are alot of outliers. I know 20 different people with the March 20th and 27th ITA's who are still in inprocess since August.

I see u r CEC. I also read a couple of other CEC applicants with DM before sep 21 not getting PPR. This one on Friday does seem like a batch PPR for fsw. I believe everyone who was fsw and DM on or before sep 21 got it,
