normally sched a request appears to be a positive sign as lots of people get ppr few days after sched a request.
They point different people to different sections of the Schedule A, though most people fill out the whole thing. My partner was asked to fill out the Statutory Questions, which he had already filled out on the original application. Our thought (we have no idea if this is correct) is that they asked him to do that either because he comes from a formerly Communist country, or because Canada has had a lot of refugee applications from his country in the past.
Sometimes they ask you to fill in some information they feel was missing from the original application, and sometimes they ask you to repeat statements you have already made. I think the point is to have your signature - and once they have that, if they ever find out your answers weren't true, you're in trouble!
