In person temporary resident visa

Do In person submitted temporary resident visa take longer than 2 days to get approved.

I applied in person on thursday morning, forgot to ask the officer when to collect my passport, as I had enclosed a self addressed envelope.

The consulate was here in New York. I need my passport for an impending travel next week.

How many more days should I wait to hear back. Can I contact someone to atleast get my passport back with\without the visa. :'(

@hai_hello- I went there in person on Tuesday, filled an urgent application form and got my passport back after 2 hours. Stamp date read 10th dec (which is monday), so 3 business days....
