In-land common-law sponsorship

Hi,

I have applied for an in-land common-law sponsorship with an OWR.

How long do I have to wait before I start to check if my application is being processed or when is the earliest answer for the OWP?

Do I receive a notification or do I just have to wait 12 months for the entire processing time of the application?
