In how many days my file will get recieved through canada post

Can anyone tell me in how many days my file will get recieved by ottawa when sent from Fort Mac AB. worried becoz of my PCC . I recieved my indian PCC dated on May 29th if I drop my application by next week, my PCC is still valid?
 
My PCC expires on Aug 29th. I recieved my PCC dated may 29th so its 3 months validity. Im planning to send my application next week on july 30th
 
don't worry you have plenty of time,CIC will receive your application way before the pcc expire...canada post is not that slow lol.

Use Xpress post so you are sure it gets there in time, also because it gives you insurance and tracking number. It won't go over 30 bucks (30 bucks well spent).
 
yes it is very important to use xpress post that way you can track your application movements but keep in mind even with xpress post you can't expect delivery on time from canada post...if you really want a peace of mind use a courrier company such as fedex or purolator the later is not that expensive compared to canada post and their service is perfect.

Really? in my experience Xpress Post is way more efficient and cheaper than any other courier service. Only Purolator and CanPar actually are less expensive but they take much longer time (UPS Ground is also cheaper but is terrible). Xpress post has a media of 2 business days for delivery to major cities in Canada and is always by air, while the other companies charge for air service.

I have sent 4 visas, 3 permits and 1 CEC and all have been delivered frankly quite outstandingly fast. Also I am a frequent eBayer and no one beats Xpress Post in the overall.

But as I said this is my experience.


(The best by far is Fedex, 24 hours garanteed anywhere in America -even Argentina-, and 2 days anywhere in Europe and Asia, but they will charge 3-6 times what Xpress Post charges).

its good to hear that you have had a pleasant experience with xpress post but it appears that some people didn't at least from what i have read in this forum and some personal experience,nothing have been lost but slightly delayed usually by an extra day compared to their guaranteed delivery on time and i have noticed not much difference between priority and xpress post in terms of service beside the signature on delivery option that comes automatic with priority while its optional on xpress and require more fees plus priority is expensive compare to xpress.
as for courriers i agree with you that fedex is expensive but im specifically talking about purolator as i have had great experience with them,delivery always on time and sometimes even earlier(really worth what i have paid).

This forum is not a very good example, people here come mainly or to complain or to ask questions. People in here don't usually come here to talk about good experiences or good things.

Funny you mention Porulator, I'm expecting a package from Ontario, it was supposed to arrive on Monday and I just checked the tracking... seems the earliest will be tomorrow.... >_>
