In Home caregiver LMIA approval from Canada

I need advice regarding applying for LMIA for nanny from India to Canada. Please advise or suggest to get LMIA approved from Ontario. I need tips and suggesstions to get LMIA approved for getting nanny for my 1year old baby.

Thanks for the reply. I have read but heard it is hard to get LMIA for caregiver. I am just wondering how long it take for the person to come to Canada right from the beginning. How many months? If it is worth applying for someone.

lots of threads here about processing times...

As a very rough estimate, completely off-the-top-of-my-head:

2 - 4 or more months for LMIA + processing time for the caregiver's work permit (varies by country).

Same programme, name was slightly changed recently, as "live-in" is no longer a requirement.
