hi there,

I m stressed out with my score of 456.(with wife).. As the possibility of recieving an ita is 50-50.

Howerver if i applied as single applicant my score rockets to 468.. Which is guranteed ita.

Therefore my question is can i apply as single applicant ... And if yes.. Does it gonna effect my wifes pr procees in future because applying as a aingle applicant means i m telling immigration that i m not married but actualy i am.

I m very confused.. Any suggestions

456 is a pretty good score, you stand chance to get an ITA in the next few rounds (considering the fact that score had come down till 453 in the past). But if you are looking to apply single, you cannot hide the fact that you are married, as it would amount to misrepresentation. The only way to go single is to declare that you are married, but wife is not accompanying with you. You will have to convince the case officer as to why your wife is not accompanying you. Even if your wife may not accompany you, you will have to still show funds for both of you, get medicals and police clearance for her as well. Later, I think it may take around a year for you to file her PR under family category. So, you will have to take a call.

Thanx stanley...

I m worried because the quota of economic class is decreased by 11% for this year. Therfore the crs score might not come down to 456 .

But i will see for few rounds and then decide what to do . Another thing is i m going to loose 5 points after october.

Yes, the quota has been reduced, but October is a long way ahead, before that you will get Ontario PT NOI or may be even a direct ITA. Al the best!

Don't risk it. The last thing you want is living away from your wife. Unless that's what you're going for :) (JK)

If I am above 460, I wouldn't worry at all. It was just last draw, which was way high. But for ppl above 460, u guys wil get ITA soon.

Both would qualify you for a OINP.

I would not apply w/o wife.

Thanks for replies,,,

There is not much room left for me to increase the crs as i have clb 10 in two modules and clb 9 in others.

Hence .. Applying togathere seems legitimate to me even if will take bit longer.

There PNP options for you.. you can still wait for EE CRS to go down but at the same time work towards either: SINP, QSWP, NSNP or OINP.

Thanks andy..

I will look into those options.

Just one thing andy... When i applied FOR OIPNP ,, do i have to tick ontarior province in the EE profile or all provinces ??

Since when did 456 become the new 449? There score had dropped to 453 last month so imo just sit tight and wait for an ITA.
