IN DILEMMA AND SEEKING EXPERT ADVICE & HELP

Hi All,

I am trying to complete my application for which i am eligible but little confused about as how i should declare my time in Canada on physical presence calculator.

Here is my situation:

I became PR on 16th June 2017 and before that i am in Canada as a temporary worker with some period on implied status. But there is no option to include the IMPLIED STATUS period on the calculator. So, how should i declare and claim the time i spent on implied status.

Its about 4 months and then i was issued another work permit which states that i maintained my status.

Can someone shed light on this?

i would wait four more months so there is no confusion in my application. Then, I would apply when all looks clear and nice.
If you are in a rush, first I would just call them.

But even if i wait for 4 months not going to help me because i still need to declare it.

Declaring it and having it credited towards ur minimum physical presence requirement are seperate things. Why risk having them to say they couldnt verify ur presence while u were on implied status and send ur app back 6-7 or even more months later. Better wait until u meet presnece requirement without using ur implied status

Agreed, but i am working during the implied status. Would that be not enough to prove the presence/

They will not ask proof from u to confirm presence they just check their system when was someone on a valid visa and if they have entry exit record of person if they cant see a valid status for a certain period they just simply return application stating they couldnt verify presence
