Hi I submitted my PR application within Canada last September 17, 2017 through Canada Post
CIC mailroom received the application and notified me via text: September 20, 2017
Still waiting for AOR. Around what time should I expect it to come? Will it be emailed through my husband's email since he's the sponsor? And I am currently just on visitor visa

Thanks a lot for the info! The waiting game is nerve-racking lol. Then after I get the AOR, I'm supposed to submit additional requirements like the Schedule A and Police Clearance?

Hey we have basically the same timeline. Keep in touch. Ours was received and we got notification via text on September 16th

There's already another thread for inland applications on 2017, it's quite active. I'm still waiting for AOR (since August 23) and last time I heard of someone getting AOR was 2 days ago, they applied on August 17th.

So more or less the wait for an AOR is 1-2 months then? It's just nerve-racking waiting for it. We still have a long way to go. Anyway, what's your status here in Canada?

Nothing we can do but to be patient. I'm on implied status since visitor visa extensions are taking about 4 months to be processed. My visitor status expired on October 1st and I requested for extension a few days after applying for PR under Spousal Sponsorship.

Oh. We're almost on the same boat. My visitor status will expire on November 2nd but I have also applied for an extension last August. Hoping we get the OWP soon.

Spoke to CIC this morning long wait on the phone but was able to speak to a agent. They are currently back logged and working on Aug 31 applications (today is Oct 24th)....The agent then told me when my wife application comes up they will review make sure it's complete and all required documents are included. If it is complete the will email us a ARO if not they will return it in few weeks.

The agent also told me if we have not received a email 30 before wife stats is about to expire apply for a extension to stay in Canada just in case application is returned to us

A few have from early September, someone from September 5th got an AOR on October 31st, the thread called "
Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates" is the one to follow as has lots of updates when AORs come in etc.
