In-Canada Class Sponsorship but still haven't moved in together

Hi,
I'd like to sponsor my husband that is in Canada right now on a Student permit. but we only did a marriage ceremony but we haven't moved in together yet because the wedding will be in a couple of months?. Is it okay to send the papers before we move in together? we have an apartment that we'll rent out and everything its just that we haven't moved in together due to religious and cultural reasons?
the reason why I want to do the In-Canada Class is because he'll get an Open work permit around midway through?
Please advice.

Then you should wait till you live together to apply for the in-Canada class.

Don't do it until all the cultural requirements have been met and you're living together. Sending it before the wedding ceremonies have been completed and especially since you're not living together because of it will pretty much guarantee a rejection.

Yes, I did.

The types of proof they ask for cohabitation are listed under the relationship proof section of the document checklist. But things like various kinds of official mail, bank statements, utilities, etc showing the common address.

They ask for an interview if they're not convinced it's a genuine marriage.

One of the very basic requirements of the inland process is that you be living together. Don't send in the application until you are actually living together. Right now you don't meet the requirements to be sponsored inland.

We have seen refusals for this before when a couple has done part of the marriage requirement but have not done the religious ceremony so are living like an engaged couple. They are not living together, have not consummated the marriage, etc.
