Has anyone ever imported a vehicle at the Houlten, ME border? I am having the hardest time finding out information from them. My husband called to ask how to submit the 72 hour notice & they said our broker does it (which didn't make any sense), so I called again and spoke with someone else who said we can just call 72 hours in advance to let them know & we don't need to submit any documentation via fax or email. I am nervous because everything I read says we have to bring a copy of our 72 hour notice to the border. I also just finished submitting my RIV import form & when I printed off my receipt it said port of entry Edumunston, NB! When I had said Woodstock. I send them an online inquiry asking if it will be an issue but I am hoping I can still enter through Houlton/Woodstock. I will be glad when this is done! We are starting our move from Utah to Nova Scotia next weekend.
