Importing my personal vehicle from the US to Canada but have no Canada address yet

Hello,

I will return to Canada after living in the US for 15 years. I will drive my personal vehicle to the border. But I don't have a Canada address yet. I will stay in a motel for a few weeks. Can I register the car with no Canada address yet?

What other options are available if RIV required a Canada address?

You can use the motel address to bring your vehicle. You have 45 days to complete RIV after entering in to Canada. Once your address in Canada you can update RIV. I did the same thing early this year. I had no problems.
