Importing ayurvedic medicines like ayurvedic urea to Canada

Hi Can you import ayurvedic medicines like ayurvedic urea to Canada? It's basically a herb named as dhatrumurgasiniy but I don't think it's recognized by health canada or fda in the US? What are the restrictions? Will it pass custom easily or should I encounter any problems? Here's what the dhatrumurgasiniy herb which is the main ingredient of ayurvedic urea look like:

Also, my father is bringing some prescription medications related to diabetes with him. Is it allowed as well? I searched the forum but couldn't find answers.

You can bring up to a 90 day personal supply of the diabetic medication into Canada.

I don't know about the ayurvedic medicines. Herbs can sometimes be a problem. Make sure you declare them and be prepared for the possibility they may not let them into Canada.
