Importing a car and motorcycle into Canada

Hi,
we are planing on taking our 17 Year old car and a 15 year old motorcycle into Canada. (from Germany)
The car is a Volkswagen Golf 4 built in 1999, and the Motorcycle a Suzuki Bandit 650s built in 2001.
The only thing i know for sure is, that the vehicle has to be at least 15 years old.
Does anybody have any experience regarding this?

How much would it cost? (Tax, any kind of fees?)
Is there something like a checklist that i could go through?

Dont bother importing. It is much cheaper to buy a used vehicle here. Also the motorcycle insurance is pretty high here.
