Important question !

Hi guys , if someone wasn't able to produce a police certificate from a country where he used to live for more than 6 months ( not his mother country ) . And the canadian visa bureau did ask him to get one but he told them that he cannot get it..will they go to do the security cheks and get the police authorities of that country about him ?

Please help , thanks .

Yes - CIC will do a security check for that country even if you can't obtain a police certificate.

Because they did sent me twice an email asking me about it and I did answer that I cannot get it so now I am waiting since a month for a reply back..I had unpaid credit cards in a GCC country that I left behind me when I was fired from my previous job there..I hopr that it is criminal regarding canadian law ? Did you explain why you could not get it? Did you provide proof you ever tried?

I sent them my emails with no answer to the police and their embassy in my country with no answers..I did sent as well the excgange of emails with my friend there who contact the police and they told him that they cannot give it to him unless I pay my debts back , I sent my conversation in live chat with the police as their didn't reply back to my emails.. I sent as well a copy of my emails with the banks there...

and with all what I sent as proof they sent me a message telling me : "Despite your explanations, the document is now mandatory" , so I replied back telling that I cannot really get it and since than I am waiting since a month now..please advice , Thanks so much in advance .

Probably you are talking about Bounced cheques in UAE where its is a criminal activity while in Canada its not a criminal offence. Nevertheless,CIC needs Police Certificate unless you give them some convincing reason. You current scenario is not convincing in my opinion .

canada11 , everybody knows that if you had bounced cheques in UAE you will never get the police clearance .. I don't know why you are saying that my scenario is non convincent..all what they have to do is to do their security checks to realise that i am right and actually that was my question will they do the security checks despite all of this ...

I agree with Canada11, you have to provide the requested PCC, if you can't provide there must be a strong and convincing reason why...

I believe this is another thread you had opened regarding your query. I saw a post of yours with the same scenario, long time back.
