All applications must be sent to CIO office only, once they review the file illegibility they will be the one to send it to your appropriate VO, and only then your direct contact would be your VO,
I did the same mistake and they returned back all my file then I send it to CIO and now it's under process

Hope this clears the way for you, you should start preparing other forms with new dates, don't wait untill you receive the old documents.

thanks but i have sent many docs in orignal how can i send again before getting these one. it will be too late then.n why CHC saying me to send docs to london office.fedex is expensive.cant they transfer to CIO sydny themselves.all time will lost..............

And what do i hav to write in formal education? only yrs of graduation study or plus schooling also.

u have mentioned 5 for primary 5 for secondary now only college n university year u will write in formal education. example. i have done master. MBA. i wrote 5 in primary 5 in secondary n 6 in formal.total 16 years.hop u understand...in pcc almost in one week it can be ready.its good u submit complet application docs.dont waste time.

its better to submit pcc.i have sent too. n i confirmed today from canadian high commission islamabad to submit pakistan application to london not novascotia.plus in primary u write 5.n in secondary again 5 years this will add up to matric.now again in college calculate how many years u have studied. for example if u have done masters then write 6 .if bachelors then write 4. submit ur application as soon as possible n before june 2011.then new rules will come n u can get difficulty in applying may be or may be no. its good to send all documents which are mentioned in both cheklists.(main cheklist n visa office instruction)

It sounds as though there was confusion in the response you got. YES London is the VO dealing with Pakistan, however, all applicants AFTER 26 JUNE 2010 MUST send their application to CIO, Nova Scotia. The address and instructions are laid out at the end of the GUIDE with different addresses for post or courier delivery. WHEN the application is approved by CIO Nova Scotia, it is sent BY CIO to your designated VO (London) and you do not have to do anything until requested.

For those who applied with forms only to CIO in the PRE JUNE 26 2010 group, they would have to submit their FULL application to their designated VO (London, for Pakistan) after their forms were approved and it sounds as if the instructions you were given were for a PRE JUNE person, not an APRIL 2011 applicant.

thanks for ur help n guidance. now can u tell me how long it will take to return back file. when did u receive back ur file? n if i take new prints of forms with new dates then should i wait for supporting documents to be backed from london or to send only forms +passports copy to novascotia? i realize i have done a great mistake. i have read many times but when i confirmed from my visa office then i changed my decision to mail to london ......plz reply

How long does paper review of FSW application take place?

I submitted my FSW application in Aug.2008. I was asked to submit complete application and supporting documents in March, 2009. I obliged the instructions and posted the doc. in July 2009. I came to know at my online status that my file was shifted from Islamabad to London on 30th June 2010. I asked London office in October 2010 how long it will take to complete the process. They replied my application was waiting for being reviewed by an Immigration officer. Now, is there anyone who can please guide me how long this review of application takes place and I may be contacted for next stage positively?

"We strongly recommend that you submit your police certificates with your application to the CIO. If you are unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you may still send your application to the CIO without them. you can tell your bank that your BD has not been encashed & you want to cash it .
(previous Bank draft will be returned with your application package from london VO).
collect you transcripts again & get a new bank draft.

Following info is only for London VO applicants:


Common rule for all London VO applicants:
Do not send originals unless otherwise stated. Send notarized photocopies of all documents except the police certificates,IELTS,transcript which must be originals.

But if you are pakistani national:
Send original copy of:
- birth certificate,
-marriage certificate
-Transcript
-PCC
-IELTS

Please note that degree/diploma certificates must be notarized photocopy (not original)

(previous Bank draft will be returned with your application package from london VO).
