Hi can you please advise what to expect upon receiving my file number from CIO-NS. I was told by my consultant that I should only wait for the request for medical. Is that true? does file number guarantee your app? By the way I applied on Sep 2011 and received my file number this december 2011

has ur file is received by Visa Office?
If not then next stage is RBVO.
keep checking ur E-case status daily.
after this verification will start.

yes, and my file number was issued already by CIC NS Canada

Hi,
I am applying for the Quebec immigration under skilled migrant category.I have gone through the above information.
My query is , do we need to submit the POF-proof of fund at the the time of submission of application? or at the final selection round.
Since i cant make my budget (as per sites information More that 10000CAD) within very short period.
What should i do?....do i need to wait till i make up fund or should i process with application?The salary slips and the income tax return work in extreme cases.???

Today I got message from him “Your file is still pending final review and decision by our office. You will be contacted in due course.” So what does it means. Is there PER is completed or not?

I use Gmail address. On that email I got CIO query reply but didn't get PER yet.

VO as per my IM0008 it was requested to be processed in London UK,is it possible to get 1 AOR only? I believe some are having two AOR before receiving the request for medical.

I am new in here, seeking some inputs from you. I am from Bangladesh, 31 years old, currently working in a large, computerized furniture manufacturing company for 3+ years. My job duties are equivalent to the HRDC - 7215, that is on the 29 demand list of Canadian skilled migration.

I hold a BSC in computer science which lead to 16 years total full time studies.

My IELTS Score is:

Listening: 6.0
Reading: 6.5
Writing: 6.0
Speaking: 6.5

My spouse is also a bachelor's degree holder in business administration with 16 years of full time studies.

I have my sister and brother-in-law, canadian permanent residents living in ontario.


I hope with these factors I can gain 67 points for canadian migration.


But only thing I lac is that I donot have a trade certificate for carpentry works. The HRDC website says "Journeyman/woman trade certification as a carpenter or cabinetmaker is usually required." But my question is is it mandatory to have a trade certificate even if I have a one year apprenticeship experience with the same company during my last semesters of the University degree?

As I read the new information, it seems that with the changes made on June 26, you now need to submit ALL the documents to the CIO, including everything requested in the specific visa office checklist for the visa office you select with your initial application. You don't need to have "Journeyman/woman trade certification as a carpenter or cabinetmaker."
This requirement is required when you will perform your job as a Carpenter in CANADA. For immigration purpose, it's not needed. All u need is to submit sufficient docs which proves that you have been in a paid employment, performing most of the duties of NOC 7215 on 37.5 hours per week basis, for atleast 1 year.
