Important documents for skilled entry

HI all,
We are thinking of applying for PR under express entry from US. Wanted to know what all documents are important..documents wise. Already got ITA earlier but due to some misunderstanding didnt send police certificate and application was cancalled because its incomplete. So dont want to make any more mistakes..If any of you went through this same process from US please let us know.
