The MIDI has published important changes to the selection factors for all files that are submitted after 8 march 2017, as well as for those submitted before this date and that the preliminary evaluation has not began.

- Important points:
* Points for Area of Training HAS BEEN DECREASED
* The minimum points for single people HAS RAISED FROM 49 TO 50
* The minimum points for married couple HAS RAISED FROM 57 TO 59

This will affect all applications that are still on their backlog. That means some applications from Nov 2015 and all applications from June and August 2016... It's a disaster for those who waiting such a long time.

Some Nov 2015 applicants got updation (Indian applicants) But i did not get any updation yet. very strange ......

Dramatic Changes in Quebec Immigration (Skilled Worker Program) Eligibility Points
Quebec has today made drastic changes to its Selection Criteria for Quebec Skilled Worker Program.
The qualifying points for a Single applicant will now be 50 (earlier 49) and for Married 59 (earlier 57). To achieve these points are now all the more difficult because Quebec has also changed its points on the List of Area of Training. The maximum points available under AOT will be 12 (earlier 16).
Nurses can get only 9 (earlier 12).
As per Quebec past history of treating the changes, the above changes may be made applicable to the current applications that are still not processed by Quebec.
Under this new system of points, a single Nurse with Bachelor's degree should have at least 4 years of experience plus an IELTS with Listening 8 and Speaking 7.

For Sure, this new point system notice should not be applied to the applicants who has been applied before the Notice date 8,March 2017, Otherwise this is a real online fraud...Taking money by lying to applicant and loosing their expectations and time.....!!!!

NEED OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM MIDI ON THIS REGARDS FOR EARLY APPLICANTS WHO HAS BEEN ALREADY PAID ONLINE OR OTHER WAY...!!!

It's good to remember that they already have done that before. One time, a girl from Russia who was eligible when she submitted her application, lost a lot of points because they changed it in the middle of the process. She sued the government and won the cause.
It seems that they didn't learn their lesson...

Even IF the MIDI announce this Notice only effect to the candidates after 8,March 2017, there is still risk to the applicants even after the documents submission, MIDI may be replied to people based on this new Notice....So we should ready..we never thought MIDI will act like this.!

MIDI made big Mistake to ALL the Applicants Who already PAID...! AND NOW ON ,THEY CAN NOT REJECT PAID PEOPLE APPLICATION DUE TO POINT ISSUES ....!!!

how do i know whether my application is under preliminary review or what? so all those people haven't got the document list will be affected by this new change, am I correct?
