Implied Status

Hi

I have this question for my brother.

He has implied status at the moment. we have applied for his visitor visa extension and waiting for the answer. He has an employer with an approved LMIA and we have already added my brother's name on LMIA .

I am not too sure if we can get his work permit on the port of entry .

Concern: His Visa sticker for Visitor has been expired but he is under implied status we have his application number and Biometrics completed.

Please suggest if it is safe to go to the port of entry to get the work permit.

I wouldn't suggest going to the POE with implied status wait until you hear back and then go to the POE. Also make sure the LMIA aligns with the occupation he had in his home country.
