Hello, one out of three OCI applications got processed today for us application date was October 4 and Ack date Oct 12 at Surrey BLS

Hi Guys! finally my OCI got processed I had applied at Surrey BLS on October 4th. Acknowledgment Date was October 7th and just got updated today!

Does anyone know why there has been no update since yesterday for OCIs

Sorry I meant we applied for OCIs on Oct 4 and 6th and still waiting. Our friend applied for entry visa and got it in 4 days

Me too, I asked a friend and he went in person and his entry visa came in 4 days. I applied October 6th and still nothing and my fiancé applied October 4th and nothing for him either. It is going to be a huge inconvenience but what can we do.

I go through a friend and he got my cousin’s approved in 4 days

Also, I have a question for Entry Visa application can we select Tourist or do we have to select Entry Visa

Hi Guys, my ticket is booked for December 11, I applied for my OCI on October 06 at Surrey BLS my acknowledgment date is October 12, do you guys think I am safe to keep my travel ticket the way it is. I am really stressed if someone can help me out I would really appreciate it

you can apply at the border as long as the LMIA has your name on it.

Hi, it is not a good idea for her to leave the country on implied status she should wait until it comes back approved. "It doesn’t guarantee that you can leave and then re-enter Canada."-cic website

I wouldn't suggest going to the POE with implied status wait until you hear back and then go to the POE. Also make sure the LMIA aligns with the occupation he had in his home country.
